Cosmetics & Haircare

The high purity of FeF Chemicals' Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quats) makes them ideal for use in cosmetic formulations. Skin and eye irritation are kept to a minimum as a result of the very low free amine content.

Besides their conditioning effect, FeF Chemicals' Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quats) also have emulsifying properties, making them perfectly suited for use in creams and hair dyes.

Cosmetics and Hair CareAdditionally, a number of FeF Chemicals' Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quats) are used as preservatives in cosmetics.

FeF Chemicals' crystalline Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quats) are ideal for hair care products because they:

- have a very low impurity content
- are easily made into clear solutions
- have no need for homogenisation before use
- are easily formulated into stable formulations
- have an excellent conditioning effect
- are biodegradable
