Responsibility for the Environment
As a chemical company, our considerations for the surrounding environment take a very high priority.
Our main environmental concerns include reducing atmospheric emissions of organic solvents from the production process and carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide from the production of energy. We also place a lot of emphasis on our use of resources such as natural gas, electricity, water and raw materials.

Chemicals' environmental emissions are regulated by a number of environmental
approvals and permissions from the environmental authorities.
In order to ensure expedient control of our impact on the external environment, FeF Chemicals has implemented an environmental system according to DS/EN ISO 14001. The environmental system was certified in October 2002 by The Danish Standards Association, who carries out annual inspections of the company.
